In May 2027, a delegation of mothers from Eretz Cultural Center will join 10,000 people from around the world, including Holocaust survivors, to walk from Auschwitz to Birkenau on Yom HaShoah. From Poland, we continue to Israel for Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut, moving from the darkest chapter of our history to the light of our homeland.

Many mothers in our community long to stand there and bear witness, but can’t afford the journey. Your gift changes that.

A mother who walks those tracks doesn’t come home the same. She comes home with a story to tell at her Shabbat table, a deeper connection to her Jewish identity, and a renewed commitment to her family and community. She carries that light to her children, and they carry it forward.

We go so that they are never forgotten, and so our children always remember.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 to sponsor 30–35 mothers who otherwise could not take part. Any gift helps, and a full sponsorship sends one mother on the entire journey.
